Newsletters - Architext^©

AIA Eastern New York provides 6 newsletters per year for all AIA ENY Members and Allied Members.  Members may request to receive the newsletter electronically, if desired.  Please contact Jillian Merriam, Executive Assitant if you would like to go green.  All aspects of AIA ENY are shared in the newsletters including a message from the President or a Member of the Executive Committee, a Feature Project Spotlight, Continuing Education opportunities, Committee and Advocacy opportunities, Member news and much more.  The newsletters provided on this page are in portable document files and require the use of Adobe Acrobat Reader for viewing.

AIA ENY Members (AIA & Allied) are welcome and encouraged to submit news to include in the Member News section of Architext^©.  Acceptable news items: News about a member and/or News about a member's firm or place of employment.  To view the guidelines and criteria for submitting member news, please refer to the policy:  Member News Policy

"Feature Project Spotlight": is a section in the newsletter where an architect's project can be spotlight.  This spotlight is available to all AIA ENY members' projects that will not be submitted in this year's Design Awards competition.  The project should be one that may have won an award or one of which you may be particularly proud.  The submitting architect must be and AIA ENY member who worked on the project and must be listed when sent to AIA ENY.  The article is to be no less or more than 2-3 pages.  The text must be submitted in a Word document and the images in JPG format.  A PDF of the article format may be included to provide an example of the desired "look" of the article.  Please include a web link and/or contact information for your firm and credit information for the photographer, construction company, etc.  Contact Jillian Merriam, Editor, with any questions.
